Mie Radici Sicilian Pork Pasta
Easy and delicious pork pasta recipe.
- 1 pound ground pork (plain)
- 1 pound mini bowtie pasta
- 2 tablespoons Mie Radici Sicilian Spice Blend seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Mie Radici Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons parmesan or pecorino cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
Step 1: Combine 1 tablespoon of Mie Radici Sicilian Spice Blend seasoning, 1 tablespoon Mie Radici Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 1 teaspoon salt with 1 pound of plain ground pork – mix well. Cover and place in refrigerator to marinate while you prep your pasta.
Step 2: Add water to pot and bring to a boil. Add 1 pound of pasta and cook to your liking.
Step 3: Once pasta is cooked – strain and add teaspoon of Mie Radici Extra Virgin Olive Oil to keep pasta from sticking.
Step 4: In a frying pan on medium-high heat add remainder (about 1 tablespoon) of Mie Radici Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 1 pound marinated pork. Break into small pieces and fry until cooked. Add remainder of Mie Radici Sicilian Spice Blend. Lower the temperature of the pan to low-medium.
Step 5: Add cooked pasta to the frying pan with ground pork.
Step 6: Add parmesan or pecorino cheese (whichever is preferred) to frying pan and mix well.
